Day 4 continued.... Oishi Tosai

Posted by: Drew Simons

Tagged in: Untagged

The following Koi were produced by Oishi's best Female Oyagoi and all selected for their long term potential, selecting Tosai at this level is not easy but with a good understanding of the bloodline and experience of how beni developes in young Tosai it is a great challenge to take up.

1 2 3 4

5 6 7

All produced May 2011 and now 22cm , POA

Other Tosai bought included, Showa , Kujaku , Shiro Utsuri and Kohaku, pictures were not good so you will need to visit the shop to see them or keep looking on the website, Date for arrival of these koi will be posted as soon as i get it.

A short walk back to the main fish house and the following koi were purchased, the Shusui's have great skin and patterns and havingbought this variety from Oishi many times the hard water in England doesnt affect their colour. Oishi's Shusui grow very big. The kumonryu have jet black sumi and excellent white skin.

The Shusui's are 40cm - 45cm and the Kumonryu 35cm - 40cm

Shusui £395                                         Kumonryu £245

The rest of the day was spent at the New Fish House looking at some of this years Nisai and Sansai for customers,  I will post some pictures and videos later as negotiations are still ongoing..
