In 2007 I met with President Ikeda of the Functional Food Creation Research Institute Ltd, I was meeting him regarding  Miracle Animal a  Natural Fermentation product that can boost Koi's immunity system and improve their health.

The Functional Food Creation Research Institute Ltd  produces many human products for the Asian market but Mr Ikeda wanted to produce a product for Koi so a meeting was arranged  to discuss ways of doing this.Details of this meeting can be found by clicking here.

Tests have proved that koi fed with Miracle Animal reduce the following bacterias Aeromonas salmonicida (hole disease) and Fexibacter columnaris (gill rot) and can improve the koi's colour and growth rate.

We have been using Miracle Animal since 2007 first on some Tosai and now on all of our Koi, the results showed improved skin quality , better appitite and better growth. We also wanted to meet with  breeders in Japan that have been using this product to discuss their own findings.

Those of you that had been following our Blogs of our trips to Japan would have read about many meeting with breeders we had , these meetings were to discuss Koi and future trips  but also about Miracle Animal. We wanted to know how long they have been using this for and also had it improved their koi's  health and growth?.

We have met with Mr Ikeda and his staff now on several occations, the following photos are from our latest visit .

Whilst in Japan some breeders we met who are using  Miracle Animal are,Niigata Izumiya,Maruju,Hoshikin,Kataoka,Isa,Oofuchi,Shinoda, and Igarashi Kazuto.

In the south we met Matsue,Momotaro,Oishi,Miyatake,Beppu,Garyu, and Watanabe.

Other breeder/ dealers using Miracle Animal are, Narita Koi Farm,Uedera,Miyatake,Koshiji,Tanaka,Yamada plus many more.

When asking the breeders their opinion,they all said that growth rates and skin quality had improved and their overall opinion was that it had greatly improved their koi. Regular testing is carried on  the mud from the mud ponds to determined the contents of the clay and any other properties Miracle animal is providing.This testing is carried out on several farms throught Japan.
