With the rising energy costs over the last year, Koi Waterlife have been testing the PerformancePro Artesian pump manufactured in America.

They are being successfully used on many types of Bead Filters, Bakki showers and general filters with excellent energy saving results.

The chart below shows mid point and maximum flow rates. We have been testing the AP 1/4-66 and the AP1/3-73 for the past 5 months on  Aquadyne Bead Filters.These are the Results

AP1/4-66  pumping 2600 gph and using only 240watts previous pump consumption 600watts. This customers  quartely saving was £72

AP1/3-73 pumping 3900 gph and using only 300watts previous pump consumption 800 watts. This customers quartely saving was £108

 2" pipework was used on both systems and the water was pumped to the Aquadyne bead filter and UV before returning to the pond. Approximate pipe runs were from 10 meters to 14 meters.All testing was done using professional electrical testing equipment and using accurate flow meters.
