Over the past few years I have visited a Koi farm located in Hiroshima that has had great success with breeding Go-sanke for many years.Below are some of his show winners.

With many awards to his name and well respected throughout Japan, I was given the opportunity to select nine very high grade Tategoi Tosai. They were purchased last May and between 16cm and 18cm and left to grow in Japan until the harvest. He has 6 breeding pairs producing superb quality koi that will grow over 80cm the largest I have seen was a 92cm Sanke (see pic below) the other koi in this picture are all above 70cm.

These koi have finished their quarantine period and are now available for viewing. Spring buying trip to Japan This year I have been invited back to select 40 more Tosai from his best parent koi. I have arranged for twenty to remain in Japan, expected size at Harvest will be between 40- 45cm.The remaining twenty will arrive at Koi Waterlife during Spring 2009.
