On our last visit to Japan, Masaaki Oishi President of the Oishi Koi Farm gave us the opportunity to select 15 Tategoi Sanke.The koi were going to the mud pond for the summer but we are now pleased to offer these koi for sale.All the koi have excellent potential and have superb skin quality and tsubosumi. There will be further information about these Oishi Sanke on the day.

Oishi Koi Farm has been established for over 80 years their original Sanke were from Jinbei and after several years developed their koi further by introducing their 1st generation Jinbei Sanke with Tsubosumi (well placed black) Sanke,this created excellent pattened koi with superb Beni and Sumi but the growth was poor.So Matsunosuke blood was used to improve the size of his koi.

Thirty years was spent developing this bloodline and now his koi have the growth and body shape of Matsunosuke koi but also have the strong sumi and colour of Jinbei Koi.Resulting in stunning Koi that can grow to over 85cm and still retain all the qualities in their skin and colour at an older age.

These Koi offer the buyer an excellent opportunity to grow a koi with genuine potential from one of Japans best breeders.

These koi will be offered for sale on Sunday 3rd August from 9.30am and are priced at £495 each. 

You will need a ticket for the best chance to buy the koi you want.Or just turn up on the Day.

The First Caller will have a time slot of 9.30am on the For Sale Day, Second caller 10am.....Third caller 10.30am....etc.We will forward your ticket with time slot via e-mail or post after your call.

You will have 30 mins to make your selection on the day,after this time the next customer will be given their 30 mins. If you are late then you will have to wait until the last person has made their decision at the end of the sale.

If you cannot make your time slot then please call no later than end of business on Saturday 2nd August and give us your Ticket Number and the Number of the Koi you want to buy and if it is still available at your given time slot then we will hold the koi for you to collect at an agreed date.You need to pay in full for this Koi.A refund will only be given if the Koi is not available.

All the koi can be viewed at the shop from today and have been fully quarantined.

Also available on the day are 30 very high grade Tosai Sanke and Kohaku from Oishi Koi Farm, they are between 15cm and 18cm and were all individually selected.They are priced at £149 each and will be sold on a first come first served basis on the day.
